My dad used to have a reputation for being a fast motorbiker, and also a very good advanced police driver, when he was in the force. I know he will sit a high speeds on motorways too. But put him in a car with me, and he turns into a proper old man!! Dads, 'eh - you gotta love 'em!
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

My poor dad has had all his driving spirit eroded by my car hating mother. (as long as it gets me from a to b, etc)

He has been reduced to driving a new corolla.? He jumps at every chance he gets to drive my VR6.

I caught him looking at the Caterham website this week, i'm urging him to have a midlife crisis!

A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.

my dad spent about 10 months telling me to sell my golf as i never drove it, cheers for the support there old man!
but since i've got back in to it and started doing more to it he's converted! the other day he came in and told me how he'd just seen 'a nice oak green on those nice polished rims' he meant schmit th lines,
but yeah he gets in mine and says how harsh the ride is so i just have to educate him some more and say it looks damn cool that low!
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post
