IMO just leave it as it is

As above leave it till you can afford the exhaust. I didn't bother with the 4mo valence when I had mine fitted, the garage cut the valence for me

You'll see the tail pipes OK

I looked into just getting a rear box, but it's more cost effective to go with the cat back. Not only that, if you fit just the rear section stainless, the front will go sometime so you'll end up paying more in the long run. Stay clear of the universal back boxes, I couldn't find anywhere that would touch them. Fitting cost me £50. If your after the look, then wait another few months and get something decent that will last.

yeah ure right i think ill just save up and get the cat back system for around 350, another problem..... i just read is that the rear towing eye is offset from the cut out on a 4mo rear valence feckign caaant

I'd forgotten about that! That was another reason I cut the valance to fit the exhaust. If you go with the 4mo valance, you will need to blockup the cutout for the towing eye!

You'd need to cut a piece of plastic and glue it in place. I think others that have done it cut a piece from the valance they took off. Looks ok don't really see it. The other thing is the towing eye on your car then won't have a cut out on the valance you are fitting. Think it fits ok, but may need a piece cutting out! Its never straight forward.

Thats why I didn't fit the 4mo valance. Thought I'd see what mine looked like with a hole cut out for the exhaust. You might want to do the same? If your not happy with it, you can always buy one after.
