rcd510 stereo

can movies dvd etc be played on theses or can it be done via sd card or ipod

Not sure what stereo you are talking about.
The RCD510 is just a stereo
The RNS510 is a DVD player and can play movies but not via the SD card AFAIK.

No because it is a CD not a DVD.
Or do you mean like plugging in a DVD to utilize the screen?
I don't think so as the resolution on the RCD is poor compared to the RNS.

Spot on, the RNS is something like double the resolution of the RCD.
