each to their own, but +1 about the rimmage - looks too small for a big mk6
Im not picking on you but I do wish the american slang for alloy wheels (and a few other things also) would not be repeated on UK forums by non americans. As they have a different meening in English than American. Rimmage/rimming/rims is what George Michael/Elton John do.

I have noticed that the mk6 in photos makes alloys look smaller than they do in real life(well to me anyway).
I also like things to flow with the design lines and not look too big or too small and this is why i think alot of alloys on cars look too big.

I agree with R32. Not meaty enough for me. And on a 5 door it just doesn't look like a GTi to me.

Just my opinion I must stres - as long as the owner likes it that's all that matters.

Very nice car (and good colour ), but I'm afraid I have to agree with others on the choice of wheels. They don't look meaty enough, IMHO, and TBH... they look a bit cheap, like those we see on www.barryboys.co.uk. But hey, it's your car and if you like them, enjoy them

Put the shadows back on or it will bug the hell out of you that 80% of the people on this post think they don`t look right on the car, wheels are ok but look abit too much after market and imo don`t suit the gti :undecided:
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

Sorry, but another one that thinks they don't suit the car - and why would you swap out expensive VW rims for cheap aftermarket AEZs ???
