Jamex lowering spring kits?

whats the ride quality like on these? after fitting hottuning coilovers (thought they were extremely bouncy  :sick:) to my mk3 im abit weary about lowering the mk2 and having terribloe ride quality again ...

i got some 40mm eibachs second hand off flea bay...............quality ride mate, not too stiff or too bouncy, just bang on      :smiley:

Don't bother. If you really want some, you can have mine for 50 quid including shocks. Only done 5000 miles. 40mm on the rear, 35mm  on the front. But in reality, spend the money and get decent ones.

+ one to most of the above, one of my mates has them on his mk2 and says they are the worst he has ever had! ive been in it and my std suspension felt better! thing is you get what you pay for with suspension i am desperately trying to save for a set of AP coilovers as lately they have had a good review and at £365 + vodka & tonic they are a fair price.

hmmm I'm also going to change my suspension ('cos I've got fatties in the family and the car is not drivable with the in the car).

Dan, the AP coilovers are 1 of the possibles ('cos they're cheap and have good reviews), I need to make my mind up by the end of the month though...  :undecided:

i have jamex shocks and springs on my mk4, rate them tbh just as goos as my eibachs were.

I've got a jamex sportline lowering kit on my valver. Paid about £350 in Halfrauds about 10 years ago - Transferred from my 1.3 that was sitting in the garage for about 9 years.  very harsh ride.  Only suitable for motorways in my opinion.  I'll be changing them as soon as I get the cash.

I'll be going either for standard from GSF or the Koni/Eibach route which seems to be the favourite on here.

yeah, i mean its either them or the weitecs for me, there is an offer on with tuning werkes and DP at the mo and they are £390 all in i believe so maybe the extra may be worth it!
