Feint AIRBAG light on perm in my mk3 8v.

Would anybody know why the airbad light to the right of the steering is feintly appearing all the time?  has anybody come across this?

Would guess that there is an airbag fault, but the bulb is dying or there is a circuit problem, which is why its faint.
