how much to charge..??

one of my mates at work doesn't clean their car...

he asked me if i would be interested in giving it a good going over (after they had seen inside and outside of my car and wondered how i had managed to get it so clean  :cool:)

since they asked another person at work has asked too. I am more than willing to give them a good clean out (hoover etc) and wash but they say they want to pay me for it, i'm not opposed to earning some pennies but am unsure of how much to ask for... should i say a price or hourly rate... i'm kinda stuck..

any advice about what i should say?? a reasonable price.. etc??

list up what you would do for the monies and then you can give a price... remember that you are always in competition with the polish dudes at morrisons

think you may have got the wrong end of the stick on this one mate... essentially it boils down to a friend at work asked me to clean their car and said they wanted to give me something for it, and how much would i charge to do it.

unsure of what to say to them... i asked here  :smiley:

i'm not starting a business, just cleaning a friends car. as for declaring the earnings....it will be classed as a donation  :grin:

£8 for inside an out i'd charge at least a tenner the Polish round here charge bewteen £10-12 for inside an out.
