Fair point, but it's not just the buggy. There's all the cleaning equipment, nappies, food, change of clothes, etc. Plus, it's nice to have an excuse to keep buying new cars

We have 7 children in our house and I know what you mean about the child buggy: ours will only just fit in diagonally.

Wow, no telly in your house then !!

yeah know they have loads of stuff to take with them, it just seems a bit bonkers to change a car you like for a more expensive one you miahg tnot like just to accomodate a some stuff that you could easily cut back in size (although if your mrs is anything like mine it may take some explaining).

If on the other hand the finances aren't an issue and you fancy a change of car anyway it makes sense to buy a bigger one.

It just amases me the number of times I've known friends take out massive HP agreements on big new cars so the buggie will fit in the boot and then complain they're skint. My mum managed with 2 kids and all their stuff in a MKI Fiesta.

I am thinking as the car is used 90% in town to get a Q5 3.0TDi or maybe an A4 Allroad.

???

Yep, I thought exactly the same. Its going to be used 90% in town so you want a massive 4x4 for an A4 Allroad lol . . . . strange choice imo.

I've managed for years with 2 kids in my various Golfs, you can always buy a roof box if you're going away to give you more storage space.

It's not the buggy it is all the other bits and pieces plus the two kids seats, I/m 6ft2 so if we have another baby seat I have to have the seat forward. The Q5 id also taller so easier to get kids and prams etc in and out of. I may keep the car until March and see how we get on but I am sure that it is too small and I can suffer the loss of a few quid for an easier life.

Cant sell the 510 as the camera will not work.
