Hey matchboy, I'm up for trackday when you are. Goodwood circuit ok for you in March? It'll be about £200 for the day and you'll need a spare set of front tyres to get you home afterwards and a helmet. I'll have a video camera set up in the car so I can put it up on the forum afterwards so everyone can see the outcome. As for being an Adult, I'm 31 and married so I think I qualify. As for thingy size it's not exactly relevant. nickP.S I ought to warn you in advance I've beaten MK5 GTI round silverstone so it might not be as easy as you think.
I did beat porches (928's if you wanna look up what they are) yes, also some TVR's and Lotus's although the TVR's were only beatable in the wet as in the dry they had better straightline traction out of the twisties. The car has also clocked several sub 9 min laps of the ring (MKV DSG does it in 8:53) although admitadly with the last owner behind the wheel not me.nick

You wouldn't like it. It's bumpy, has no interior and it's noisey. You're money would be better spent on a MK6 R which I reckon with a few major tweaks could see sub 8 secs (for reference the new Skyline GTR is sub 8 min car). Sub 6 is not possible with any road car at the moment, I don't even think any full race cars can get close to 6 mins. You'd have to average approx 130mph round the 13 miles to get close to 6 mins.nick
