I tell what VWkev, you go enjoy your car, after all that's why you bought it. it's not really that important whether you believe it's an all new car or not as long as your happy with your purchase and it makes you smile.

I'm clearly never going to get you to see what I'm trying to explain and I'm not going to waste anymore of life discussing it with you. I'm still at aloss as to why you have taken such offence to it all though as believe or not I'm huge Golf GTI enthusiast and love all Golfs, I certainly have nothing against MK6's or their owners.

I havent taken offence at all, I thought you were a twit before this and still think you are now so nothing has changed.

You are saying that the body has changed, a few tweaks to the engine and a different interior. That doesnt mean its a new car. Since I threw in another addition like XDS its altered the crap you believe in your mind and your resorting to saying I dont understand. Its a clever way out. Well done. But we both know, you know f**k all about the mk6 and the changes.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

XDS is some software update to the TC it's not a big change and they haven't change the body, they just re skinned it. I'm not backing down and I'm not looking for a way out.

I know all about the changes, I went to the launch of the MK6 at my local dealers which i was invited to due being a good customer of theirs.

Regardless of what it is, its another change, how many f**kin changes do you need to hear before you accept its a different car.

Uuurgghhhh I give up I really do. The arguement is not whether it is a different car. It's clearly not exactly the same the same as a MK5. THe arguement is whether it is a completely new car which it is not, it's an updated MK5. Listing minor software updates, revised seats and some new trim and panels won't change that fact.
