New Golf Mk 7 rendering from Auto Express
« on: 06 October 2009, 13:36 »
Here it is. looks like VW is accelerating its introduction. If true, that doesn't bode well for everyone who's just bought a Mk 6.

Anyway, it looks nice: DRLs from Golf R, sleeker Scirocco-inspired lines, it looks more modern yet still very much a Golf.

Golf R - almost on order - 5-door, DSG, Rising Blue, leather, 19" alloys, RNS510 with Dynaudio, ACC, Sunroof, Parking camera and sensors, luxury pack and cruise control.

Can't see the picture  I'm surprised Auto Express is making do with artists impressions of the Mk VII, though, I thought they would have 'official pictures' of the 2033 MkXIX at the very least.

They are so obviously PS'ed pictures of a MkVI GTI (and not 'leaked images', as they claim ), but I agree the front is ghastly with its pedestrian-friendly high bonnet line.

The front looks like a f**king Laguna! Not a fan of this at all.

Hey, Auto Express, look at this leaked close-up from a "VW spokesman" and/or "reliable source"! That MUST mean that the Mk7 Golf will be getting a V8!

MK6 is only a facelifft and tweaks, MK7 is all new platform due late 2011.
