No Blue is odd?

Nice to see that VW are holding thier prices high as always!

Will just have to wait and see what the UK price will be then.

On the VW websites, a base GTI costs €26,650 in Germany and £23,015 in the UK.

The base R is coming up as €36,400 in Germany, using the same percentage uplift that equates to £31,435.  Gulp

(and a base S3 costs £26,645 in the UK).

How long did it take for the GTI to jump from .de to .co.uk?!

I hope we can get an order in before Christmas, as then we'll save on the new VAT rate.
Golf R... 3 door, DSG, Leather, Reflex Silver, Black 19" Talladega Wheels, ACC, Parking Sensors, RNS510 with Dynaudio, Reverse Camera, Luxury Pack, Cruise Control & Fiscon Bluetooth.

I don't want to disappoint you but for VAT it's the final invoice date that counts... So unless the dealer is willing to take the hit you'll pay more when collecting.
Golf GTI VI DSG - died on the road, resurrected, came back as zombi, sold
R - rising blue, 5-door, DSG, ACC, something something...

This is correct. Delivery date, not order date.
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

I think it doesn't look as good as the MK5 r32, but you seem to get less for your considerably more money. No?
5dr Silver GTI DSG (they've invented something to change gears quickly, I'm using it- has anybody specc'ed manual window winders so they feel more involved?) Leather, RNS, Blueteeth and a few odd and sods

I know this - but I was at the dealer on Saturday asking a few questions - and VW have been given an additional 2.5% discount on cars ordered between now and New Year - to combat the VAT hike.
