I know but the now know i need a windscreen so they wont cover it. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lol

Right big question here....

The scuttle panel that sits on the bottom lip of the windscreen is slightly brittle. WILL this be a problem when changing the screen.

I've just been quoted 109quid for new screen fitted today. is that good?
still ringing places as we speak.

You can buy a kit from most autofactors to make your own, i bought one and make all mine. Most places don't sell made up pipes off the shelf.

However brake pipes often fail but really just need a clean up. Jack the car up and attack them with a wire brush to clean all the crud off and then cover them in some nice clean grease or underseal. Make sure though they are not badly pitted ot rotted otherwise they will need changing. If you are unsure, clean them up and ask the gaage to re inspect them. They shouldn't charge you much to replace one anyway.

think i may have something sorted.

my mate said he will help me change it tomorrow morning at work, so hopefully i can buy some pipe and make my own, then least that way, i get experience doing it myself.

Dont like taking it to a garage, for 1.... some of them are pants, and may nack things up... 2.... I dont see them doing it.

Cheers for all your help. I'll keep you posted on the fixes. and the retest

My sexy wheels are coming today.. after 3pm.... Cant wait.
