Car keeps cutting out while driving!

  As title says......was driving home tonight after the gym and car just cut out!!!! I had to turn the ignition off while coasting in gear and turn it back on again and started straight away.
It has the original scorpion 918 alarm and immobilser so was wandering if it is the immobiliser cutting in while driving?? This has happened 3 times now in the last week. Could the coil be on it's way out perhaps?? Can i disconnect the immobiliser and just keep the alarm? If so how can i do this?

Any suggestions would be great as i'd like to get this sorted!

Sounds like it could be the coil yes.

Have a search on here, i'm sure other people have had similar problem and it was the coil pack.

Could be immobiliser problems however I would try a coil 1st.
