i really would not bother mate its quicker to put up n down manually

I only repaired mine cause I got a full set of pistons and pump for £20.

i did one and it only took an extra 45 minutes on top of installing a manual one
i used rivets and a rivet gun instead of welding the brackets in.......
what you need to do is fit the hood on put the pistons on to the hood fully extended and put your brackets on at the other end... mark up/line up your bracket and it will fall into its natural place......
