RCD 510 Dynaudio and iPod!

Dynaudio is fantastic with CD and radio - not tried memory card yet ... But, with iPod linked up the sound is not as good.... Noticably thinner sounding! My iPod is set to eq off, volme about three quarters and all of my music is downloaded at a high bit rate!!

Is this common? I have a B and W zepplin at home to play my iPod throgh and it sounds great!

I have also tried two iPods with same music at same settings and it is just the same?!!

What to do???

i have said it before and will say it again. the ipod + car = crap

just get yourself a big fat SDHC card

32GB if yours is a version c unit

My ipod and dynaudio sounds excellent, so guess you must have a setting wrong or dodgy connection

I am using the RNS310 with my iPhone 3G... sounds superb... no complaints as to sound quality...

Doh! I'm lost, what is this EQ you speak of? I've the RCD510+dynaudio and for me it sounds superb and by the way Rolfe the screen is not that huge!!.  But i've not discovered EQ please enlighten the uninitiated.

I agree with AlanH try your equaliser on the ipod. This has been covered in other forums and the equaliser seems to be at the root of it.
