Inner Drive Shaft Rubber Boot.

Need a inner drive shaft Cv Rubber boot (on the longer drive shaft drivers side)... finally found out it was this lol...

Anyone know how much it will cost me at a garage to replace the rubber boot?

Just read on a thread on here.... that Split Inner Drive shaft rubber boots are NOT an MOT Failure????
Thats wrong isnt it??

My MOT is on Friday 2nd... need to know if this job needs doing urgently b4 friday.
And yes I do know i need it doing soon, just short of cash at the mo, and i dont think i can do it myself.  :sad:

It will fail with a split inner drive shaft boot as I had to get mine done to pass the MOT !!

Cost me £60 labour as the cv joint was a nightmare to seperate from the hub !! I was gonna do it myself but without a ramp its a bit of a pig !!

They are a nightmare to separate on mk3's, a puller is required to do the job.
