Engine noise .
« on: 26 September 2009, 09:54 »
I have watched various youtube videos of the car accelerating and the engine sounds very loud and meaty, i'm just wondering if any of your GTI's sound anything like they do in the videos, i'm still undecided on whether mine sounds like that or not. please let me know how your engines sound in comparison.

Mine sounded like that until I had the remap. Now I would say it's about 10% louder/meatier still. The noise is one of the pleasant surprises - I really wasn't expecting the 4-cylinder GTI to sound almost identical to the 5.0 liter V8 BMW M5 I used to drive
