the button that sets the alarm off is a panic button so if your approaching your car and you are attacked you can set your alarm off to draw attention. well thats the theory.  :rolleyes:

im gettin the gunther and adolf but gary.  :laugh: WTF.

my fob works so by pressing left button it only locks the car and right button then alarms car,  :cool:

lol!  Panic button? Does that mean that it's likely all Golf owners are going to be attacked at some point and that's why they put the panic button on the (very large) key fob?! ;)

Gary the Golf - geddit?  :rolleyes:  :wink:  I still haven't decided which name suits him best tho.....  :undecided:

I'm trying to upload a pic of my (very large) key fob so i'll post it up in a sec. :D
