hi,

just here to ask a quick question, 

    Did the 16V ever have Electronic fuel Injection during its life time?

nope not in the mk2 golf. its got a flap that opens  depending on the amount of air pushing it up and this controls the amount of fuel.

Nup, the Mk2 Valver had Bosch KE Jetronic mechanical fuel injection throughout it's lifetime. The Mk3 16v got hotwire electronic injection, I think.
