yep - airbox is the same

IIRC the DSG mod can be done to ANY Golf except the 1.6

yeah its pretty good - get a bit more noise, bit more air going in.  Plus it looks stock!

the r32 airbox is £70 iirc just as easy to cut your std box's opening dead easy and then apply some silicone sealant just to provide a better seal i did that on my 1.8T cut the opening and fabricated the original seal onto and around the dsg pipe and any gaps applied the sealant worked a treat
