Anybody used Jabba for a Mk 5 Remap ??
« on: 22 September 2009, 23:40 »
I'm just starting to look at the various options regarding remaps and wanted to know if anybody had any experience of Jabba in relation to the MK5 ?

They are a mile up the road from me here in Peterborough, but convenience isnt everything !!!

They are supposedly good with PD diesels, but don't seem to have any kind of track record with the TFSI engine.

I'd personally recommend sticking with dedicated VAG specialists such as Revo, or try R-Tech, our forum sponsor, who has very good feedback.

Thanks.

I had some work done there on my old TT, mainly coilpacks and a few odds and sods, but nothing else. A friend has had his S3 done there and got on brilliantly.

They have quoted £420 for a semi custom map, so will look round and try some of the other guys.

R-Tech will piss all over that price. Had mine done by them and its a very good map, smooth as you like:

240bhp & 265 lb/ft

Not many people have used them for their MK5s (only me and cookie that im aware) as others seem to want to pay much more money for the same thing  :undecided:

Nick and Ben at R-Tech are top fellas who know what they are doing, give them a call for a quote. They are also mobile and will charge £40 to come to your house and do it, like this:

Go with R-Tech, they are top blokes!!

Just to point out, the power figures in Alan's graph are "at the wheels" figures so the actual engine power is more hence his 240bhp figure
