Len, if you don't want a scene tyre and are going for correct fitment then there is a good tyre review on the Auto Express website, I will see if I can find a link...
here http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/total_tyre_guide/213177/tyre_test.html

I like Eagle F1s, myself.

Cheers for that mate!

the rainsport 2's and f1's seem to be very good tyres looking at the reviews. although they quite expensive.

although tbh, i have the worst tyres ever on my azevs. nankang ns2's and tbh, they are alrite and consider i got all 4 for £80 all in, i cant complain! they were used, but in very good nick with 7mm tread.

im going to go for kumho ku31's next, cheapy ones off black circles, but they seem to get good reviews.

+1 on the Rainsport 2s. Had mine on a couple of months and a massive improvement in the wet over the Pirellis I had on before. Literally had to drive like a granny in the wet with the Pirellis. The Rainsports look the business too imo

ay ay!

I've got T1R's and can say they are very good both in wet and in dry, (bit of understeer in the slow speed wet corners, but it is a FWD car). T1R's are the best IMO if you balance the cost with performance.

Yea apparently a standard clutch is good up to 300bhp as well!

According to that test (in link) T1R's are expensive and dont perform as well as others!

Well I have decided to go with the Uniroyal Rainsports!

Got a reasonable price online of £338 with mobile fitting.
