Yeah tax seems to be around the same as the 1.8t so all good there

Thanks for all the info so far people

But.......  On another note does the 1.8t sound good with a r32 style twin exit exhaust reason i ask is that alot of people have said how lame the 1.8t sounds in comparison to the v6 so was wondering what people thought as on youtube they all sound fairly similar lol as basically now i think im keeping my options open and will go for either the v6 or 1.8t depending on the car i.e want a good solid car low mileage leather interior etc etc thats near to me (bucks) so whether that be a v6 or turbo only time will tell as they both seem to have there pros and cons

Stinks also has a Milltek on his R32 which makes it sound even better.

A 2.8 V6 wont sound like that lol

Check these two vids out though they are both standard V6 4Motions so won't sound like Joe's R32!!!

ooh just read something on uk-mkivs about the timing chains has anyone had experience of them failing on here as they reckon its a £2k fix  which tbh would put me off massively just wondering if its common or a rare issue did ask over there but to no joy

You would be pretty unlucky if a timing chain failed to be honest!!
