Shady I tell thee exactly what you need!

1. Money
2. A Plan
3. The determination to stick to the Plan and not keep changing your mind every five minutes!

I know, I'm terrible, but hey ho, it's my car.  This was always just an idea anyway, I never said I was going to do it, I was just gathering info. As robz said though, my engine will continue to go and go, I might not even bother replacing it for now, see how long I can get away with it haha!

ditch the aircon, saves weight and power, stick to the same engine, they are cheaper, get the head flowed, inlet etc flowed for more responce, get a lightweight crank pulley wheel, new belts etc.. and just give the engine a full service.Get the suspension bushes replaced, even if cannot afford poly's,replace with standard.you will be surprised how better the car will feel and drive. Also include new engine and box mount in that.Do the airbox mod, with a free flow-filter in.At the end of the day,it should feel quicker, firmer and more like how it should drive, also your insurance will hardly increase.A proper set-up car will poss drive and feel better than one thats had ££££££ spend but not set up.
if in doubt, rev the arse out of it

Cheers for the input chap. Gotta get money through before any of this and that's gonna be hard during Xmas lol! But still I'm looking at keeping this for now as it's cheap on insurance for what it is, and it's good enough to drive. Got a couple issues as everyone knows lol but still drives well. Gonna service it again in Jan' I think.
