I've not got mine yet, but lately I've been thinking cars I would be wary of are definitely the kind with blue flashing lights and "POLICE" written on the side of them. I would be like "Have I any wool? Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full sir"

I do most of my driving on rural roads.
The cars I dread are townies.
They drive so slowly, so far from the hedge, and speed up in villages.

Manchester reg saloon cars are worst.
Currently digging a bunker.

i never bother with focus st's as invariably its some young (unt in a cap driving it - can't be bothered to race you mate, my car is better, more expensive and (now) quicker - so bore off.

When I started thinking about a new car in June, it was the ST I was attracted to first.

I'm so glad I had second thoughts.  I love my Golf to bits.

but my favourite are the peugeot 206/306 brigade.  hateful cars and you are a (unt if you drive one, particuarly if you're a bloke cause its a bird's car at best.  they come up right behind me on the dual carriage way to work.  i slow down.  then i nail it cause i know they have the acceleration of a double decker bus.  bye bye d1ckhead.

Well, I'm a bird so I'll forgive you.  But I loved that car.  (The Peugeot 306 GTi-6 I took the scrappage deal on to buy the Golf.)

11 and a half years, 120,000 miles, and an absolute cracker.

Only the Golf GTi could reconcile me to parting with it.

definitely the kind with blue flashing lights and "POLICE" written on the side of them.

That depends if you are driving them or getting chased by them!

i wouldnt expect a new audi rs4 driver to know what a rs2, URCQ is, so i guess its fair enough.

Erm, I certainly know what came out of Zuffenhausen, and am also deeply impressed with the original Coupe Quattro.  Many moons ago, one of my mates used to have a urCQ, and he'd regularly cane me in my SuperMirafiori TwinCam.

Defo the boy racer as descibed below. (Came across this on the internet, a good description I think.)

Boy Racer

Main use for car: Driving around town centres, music blaring big bore um... boring. Sitting in local car parks. Visiting local "cruises".

Primary styling mods: Styling mods purchased with no consideration for the car's aesthetics as a whole. Stupid spoilers, bad bodykits. Bodged installation. Car says "look at me, I'm fast" but is probably sh!t.

Primary performance mods: Whatever they can get their hands on. May not be expertly installed.

Usual car models: Cheap usually low-powered models. 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 litre engines, sometimes larger if the boy racer thinks they can afford the insurance. Mods often make them look worse than standard.

Driving style:  "Pedal to the metal" on public roads. Erratic driving in public car parks. Not all that much driving skill.

Car Modifier

Main use for car: "Track days", where a car is put through its paces on a race course, or normal driving.

Primary styling mods:  Subtle styling blending in with the aesthetics of the car. Not too OTT. Time and care taken installing mods. Car says "if you know about cars, you know I'm nice"

Primary performance mods: Primarily safety and handling mods. Performance mods aren't used dangerously.

Usual car models: Can be any size car but usually decent cars in their own right sans modification.

Driving style: Careful on public roads, but not averse to driving fast at special events.

Oh dear, what does that say about our RedRobin?
