EDIT: out-of-date thread, I already did the remap here:

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=129649.20

Now details of the Golf R are being published, I feel I absolutely need the 275hp that Revo Teknik are promising on my GTI  I just rang them and they said they would be at the Audi International Show on Oct. 10th (I guess this is the equivalent of GTI International, http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk/). I thought this would be an opportunity to get a whacking great discount (CustomCode are advertising 40% off in this month's Audi Driver), but the guy I spoke to said it would be a last minute decision and at the moment, they had no intention of offering any discount

What do you reckon?

If we tell them 3 or 4 of us are coming to the show, do you think we can get near the 40% discount CC are advertising?

Amazing, truly.  I can't think that I'd want anything faster on a public road, doesn't understeer, loose traction (unless you drive it like a nob). It really isn't the 'throw you in the back of the seat' powerful that some people talk about but it is a lot quicker than stock and sounds a lot better.

They were doing about 30% off at GTI international.  I've got the select plus switch but have never used it.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you get yours done at GTI International, then? Would I need to make an appointment, or do you just turn up? How long did it take them to do it? Finally, what is their policy on redoing the work should your car be 'reset' by th dealer during a service?

TIA
