washer jets question
« on: 16 September 2004, 12:42 »
I want to fit peugeot 206 water jets to my mk2 golf, is this possible? I want to do this because they have a great spray, like 6 jets in each! or can you get something similar from a newer golf that would fit?

cheers

Ya should try the ones from a 405. They are actually on the wiper arm!  ;D

Not a chance - square peg round hole.

Dont know just guessing, but i'll bet the hole in the bonnet wont be the same. Hoses should fit tho.

mk4 ones are fan shaped and are absolutely brilliant at wetting the screen, located above the scuttle though so you'd be looking at filling/painting a couple of holes.

Just do what i did, get two heated jets in the two standard holes, and get two normal jets from the breakers, then they just fit into the other oles in the bonnet, near the middle, then you have 8 jets. It works better than he MK4 i think! You also have to two of the three way connectors for the tubing. Then it all looks standard, cos it kinda is.

You want a picture, anyone?
