Only one problem with that I don't have a garage and no access to hose pipes so it would be trips back and forth with numerous buckets and even then the problem with road grit being put on the cars body.  The chap at the car wash has assured me everything is foam and that it will not scratch the car.

Ok ok calm down dears!!! I shall pop off and buy a nice new sponge and bucket tomorrow and give it a good seeing to.

A water container from a camping/caravan accessory shop would be worthwhile, 25 litres of water without the walking up n down.

Or what about a portable pressure washer ?

The ONLY way to avoid swirl marks is with a touchless wash. Period. Sponges, sheepskin mits and such like WILL eventually produce SMs, no matter how clean you think they are :wink:
