Where do you race?

Nick doesn't race, that's his other old Golf that does that .

He does track days, at places like Castle Combe and Silverstone etc.

Yeah what he said. Wish I could afford to race though.

Soooo back on topic, is the general consensus corrado seats then? Are they better than mk3/4 recaro seats? Or any other suggestions?!

Mine can be seen here: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=116206.0

I dunno if the Rado ones are better but they do slide straight into a MKII (well in the front anyway) so they're the best of the easy options.

Mini's rock! Had it featured in Minimag as well with a 6 page spread, was well chuffed. I've probably had about 10 minis in total and will have another one day. mrs Horney still has a 79 850cc City in near mint condition with 33K on the clock from new.

Mini's rock!

No they don't, they bounce along at about 45-50mph with the driver clinging to the wheel for grim death, with a fixed glazed stare on their face.

Well, that's my experience of passing them on the motorway anyway.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

As for seats. I would fit mk3's. Corrado seats in mk2's look wierd imo

You're half right mate but mine was bucketed and harnessed up so I was clamped in my seat. It was also pushing 100 bhp but with a short box and a complete cf front end. The suspension was also properly sorted. Used to leave scoobs for dead on a B road blast as long as their weren't any long straights which would tske it over 100 as it would run out of puff at 105.

Flipping awesome car and I miss it badly BUT the Golf track car is nearly as quick and feels very similar to drive.
