All you guys phoning VW want to ask her what build week will they be adding the LED rear lights and keyless Ignition (as shown@ IAA) to the GTI rather than asking for a date  :wink:

Id rather stick with what I have and not pay the extra for led's, essentially the led's are an extra expense and as they have came out after the Vw price increase and no-one now will get their cars till jan, they will cost a hell of a lot more. Keyless ignition ? As you dont need your keys anymore, I bet you a lot of people will forget their fob or it ends up breaking. Everything electrical does in the end. I've also never seen the need for it.

Just called VW for an update, car is of course built and is in the UK, it arrived in the port of Tyne and is awaiting transfer to the dealers, the dealer should have it next week at some point.

Unless it goes to VWs big holding compound in Newcastle which is probably worse :evil:
