I would not trust either myself just take an average
But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
Just called VW, they say, no its definately confirmed for week 40, not 42. Will be built next week and will have the car mid Oct.Hmm. I'm inclined to believe VW CC, over the dealer but why would the dealer be a couple of weeks out ?

Did u get your car from a Glasgow dealer?
Charing Cross or Eglinton Toll? Eglinton Toll lot are a bunch of tools they know nothing about cars, when I test drove a car from there in 1988 the inside was covered in mould and the engine was thick with dirt. I wouldn't touch them.

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?
The dealer gave me the build week 40. Just phoned him to confirm that it's actually happening this week (after hearing that confirmed build weeks tend to get put back from unconfirmed ones) and true to form I have now been told that it will be wk44. What a p!sser!

Example: Crow Road wanted £71 to change coolant and £50 to change brake fluid. 'A4A' did it £69 all inc VAT.
