Fuel filter?

So i was told that my gti doesn't have a fuel filter? The reason i ask is because im going to a indie garage and they seem to think i do? Happy monday btw

On my nokia and for some reason it keeps the subject title from last post forgot to change b4 i posted.  cant delete old one cos my phone is gay. I am sorry for this im a retard. Was quiet in here anyway lol

I was confused, too! I could find no mention of a fuel filter replacement mileage (apart from the Diesel - 40k), so I had mine changed at 40k as well.

Correct, there is no VW scheduled replacement interval, simply because fuel in the UK and western europe is generally exceptionally high quaility in terms of debris (unlike some shocking yankie fuel stations!).

But 40k miles is an ideal interval, a max of 80k miles to ensure good fuel flow. :nerd:
