Well alreday posted but forgot to introduce myself, over here from uk-mkivs and scottishvag

used to have a black mk4 GTI but sold it and fancied a changed, ended up with a mk3 GTI 2. 8v which is sooo slow...

but it looks half decent...

Will get pictures up soon....

Where do you post if your interested in a post that has went missing????  :nerd:

cheers guys, yeah was originally looking for a 16v but everything i seen i didnt particuarly like.

My plans with this are either 20vT as i miss the mk4 for that or a VR tubby, think i would like the sound of a VR tubby  :evil:

I posted about bigger brakes for the rear purely on looks basis....as i have a set of 256mm rears from a v6 4 motion i know these fitted onto the rear of the mk4 platform with 6mm spacers....but upon asking this question i was shot down with "it's pointless no benefit".

Ah right I remember that thread! I'm afraid some folk are rather opinionated around here!  :rolleyes: :grin:

Its looking that way Len, i must admit maybe my reply wasnt the best worded in the world but the very fact that i stated in the original question that i knew they would serve much of a purpose and i only wanted them for looks....then for people to come along and only commment on them being a waste of time kind of annoyed me  :embarassed:

I'll pop another one up see if anyone can help...
