Big Big Thank you.....
« on: 11 September 2009, 18:46 »
Hey guys just got home from R-Tech having my ibiza 1.8T stage one remapped.

Got there at about 10:30am where Nick and Chris checked the car all over and also checked for code faults.

Got it on the rolling road and it made 165bhp with 162.1 FT*LB standard which i was very happy with.

After abit of messing about Nick loaded the stage 1 map on the car and it came out with 185.4Bhp with 213.42FT*LB

Nick wasnt happy with this and knew he could get more out of the car so we left him to it and went and bought lunch/

Got back and after abit more time Nick had customized the map to suit my car to give a much nicer power read out of

198.5Bhp with 229.26FT*LB which we were all pleased with as the car is only running a K03 turbo.

So big thanks to you both great customer service and you really know your stuff i know i will be going back there very soon for some more bits as i need to break the 200bhp barrier.

I will try and get the graphs up on here when i can get to a scanner.

Chris

Hello,

It was nice to meet you today, and I need to thank you for my lunch it kept me going.

I was not happy with the first few pulls after the spec1 map.. not enough power plus a huge dip.. not good.
After a few tweaks to one of the load maps, I was hoping to bring the torque up and bring it in sooner then aim for 190bhp not 198bhp..lol  I even had to get chris the double check the setting on the dyno to make sure I got it right.
Send me an email for nick@bigbhp.co.uk and I will send you the hardcopy of the graphs.

Thanks again for your custom and the feedback above.
Any problems or question you have got my number.

Nick

PS see you when you got your ko3s...

It made lot of loud noise.. 14.5psi = 305bhp@6600rpm but had a lot of turbo lag.

What year is your mates A3?

Nick

Mate, really happy with the results, I am pretty worried with those figure you'll be a bit quicker than me. Did you find out if you were Cat Back or just Rear Box??

I ll take you out in the Goof so you can see what it's like with a Turbo Back
