Thought I'd introduce myself!

Hi guys!

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'll probably have a lot of questions of the next few months!

I currently drive a 53 reg Polo but I'm saving up for a Mk5 Golf GTi :smiley: Any advice on insurance, mods and the usual will be much appreciated!

Looking to spend roughly 15k, is this enough?

Nope, 15K for the car on it's own then whatever it needs on top of that. It'll be a work in progress I think! First thing will be new wheels, then new interior.

Any suggestions for any little mods that won't affect insurance too much?

Insurance will depend on age and driving record.
Changing alloys dont usually have an effect.

Welcome. 15K? :shocked: You could get a Ferrari 308GTB for that money. But a Golf will be cheaper to run and insure! :grin: I would say you have enough to get what you want.
