well dh i like your aproach insult then offer bits i might try that more often lol  :laugh:

I have scrap I need to offload, after selling some *actually* useful bits for a BAM conversion to Harney on Monday.  This guy would appear to be happy buying any old tat, so worth a shot.....

sorry to correct you Diamond but its for an AGU, main reason i want to use it for my daily, oh and thanks for the awesome advice on Emerald going to see them on thursday ;)

i have a mk3 1.4 8v in bits i put some magnets on the fuel lines made it about 500bhp think he would want that? :grin:

Just out of curiousity, why would a BAM be unsuitable for daily pursuits?  :huh:

i'm not saying it wouldn't be just from what i've read alot of people who use BAM use them for track toys, the reason i went down the AGU road is a friend of mine who works for audi said there's not really to much difference and the AGU is easier to fit and more reliable plus i'll be upgrading it before it goes into the car anyway and am looking at about 220-240bhp hopefully ;)

Well turbo 16v on a propper stealth racing install and re-map is giving 237bhp on high boost. Just to give you an idea

the 16v seems to have more tuning potential with boost than the 20v  :cool:   we are taklking v high numbers and big £££££ enignes tho but 16vt motors doo seem to be abel to make more power
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

Yeah there was a brown mk2 16vt in PVW a while back owned by a german army driver, still 1.8 but was making some crazy power (500+) using a porsche turbo, plus other bits and bobs.
It was well tasty.
