Oh my god!!!
« on: 07 September 2009, 10:48 »
Oh my god, f**king hell, jesus christ, wow, blimey........................................

I took the car for it's first proper thrashing on Saturday night and I still cannot believe how good this car is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned some very fast cars and some a lot faster than the GTI but none compare to the overall package or how this car makes you feel.

My current company car, a Sabb 95 Aero is just as powerful but leagues apart in how they drive.

The GTI is my wifes car and on Saturday night we went for a meal and afterwards spent an hour just driving around the empty country roads where we live. Neither of us wanted to stop and it was only the baby sitter that made us go home. We both got out of that car feeling like teenagers, feeling alive like we hadn't felt in ages. We had the stereo blasting and constantly hitting the red line time and again.

Then yesterday it became again the competent family car taking us all over to the coast for a day out! Push chair, bags, kids seats ect.

I cannot recommend the MK6 GTI enough to anyone, simply awesome...............

Lol, when I looked at the above paragraph, I felt as if I was reading the back cover of a porn DVD

I know, I thought it sounded a bit much. We don't get much excitement these days.

I might have been able to make her scream even louder if the seats in the GTI weren't so hard to move about in

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Has it made more mess than we made on our nice new leather seats?
