Don't let those miniature tennis rackets fool you!

That looks like a good idea until you go over a bump or round a corner and everything clatters against the hard surfaces. You'd be better off with a cargo net or a sports bag.

Went to my local dealer this morning just to ask what the price was. He had one in stock, so I had a good look and decided to buy it. It is actually very good quality (apart from the wheelie bin appearance of the black plastic base) and - crucially - it comes with a non-slip rubberised cover.

OK, it's expensive, but what appeals to me is having a higher boot floor that is now flush with the boot lip so I don't have to bend down so much (I'm 6'3"). I can shove all my bits & pieces like the now compulsory safety vest & triangle in the compartments out of the way, leaving a nice clean empty boot space. I never carry anything in the Golf anyway, I have a Transit van for that

 Agreed, this should be a forum rule!

So I guess the carpet fits on top okay then?

Please forgive my transgression  :embarassed: Here are some fascinating pictures of my boot divider, complete with my nerdy little objects stowed neatly in the compartments  Note how the boot 'floor' is now flush with the lip. It does reduce capacity by, I would say roughly 25%, but I don't mind as the GTI will never have to carry much kit.

I'm a crazy OCD'd neat freak, but even that is taking it to the extreme!

Out of sight and all that...

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Nice.  Have you taken your car into your kitchen?  Never seen a tiled garage before

Lol, I knew you'd give me stick on those pictures  No, it's not the kitchen, we have a tiled (and air-conditioned :embarassed:) garage...

It's only here in slummy England we don't have such niceties! Now where can I find suitable tiles for my garage?

The boot divider actually looks pretty good. I didn't realise it had its own lid too.
