I have done a stage one remap.
I have done a stage one remap and fitted some aftermarket exhausts.
I have done a stage two remap or higher.
am considering doing a remap and/or fit an after market exhausts in the future.

i think im just going to wait and assess the car a little first. only driven 15miles since i got it and already struggles putting the power down in the wet (not used to this wheel spin business). might just put some more miles on the clock and wait til the winter months are behind us :cool:

It seems you are gossa. Find that quite shocking really... but im sure it will soon change. I think over on the mk5 board at least 50% of people have remapped and I have only ever heard on one person going back to std.

Looks like with all the talk of performance gains people have forgotten about the improved economy. :rolleyes: :smiley:

I don't think many will take the risk of stage 2 on such a new car just yet. And in addition to that there are still a lot of people on here still waiting for theirs to arrive.
My plans are for a stage 1 on mine as soon as I possibly can, which means that considering I haven't taken delivery yet it could be right away!

Not due delivery til nov/dec, so will potter about over winter with stock everything, but will undoubtably start *alterations* some time next year, chip & exhaust only this time thou, i think i've had enough driving sideways over speed bumps :wink:

What exactly is the issues with the warranty?  If you pick up a problem with the engine will they just point and say it is the remap, even if it might not be the problem and then loose your waranty or is that just one of those grey issues that can go any way?
