when i did mine i just got some carb/choke cleaner from motorfactors cost bout £3 iirc. its dead simple to do, you dont say if its a turbo, but this is how i did mine
undo jubilee clip from throttle body to intercooler abnd remove pipe
then remove the 4 cap head bolts 5mm allen key
now you can twist the body round so you can clean it. spray cleaner into body thisd will disolve the carbon in there
i used a rag to wipe it clean. once done the T/B will be nice n shiny
