do you have the proper metal hardlines from the caliper to the flexis,   you can put the flexi straight into the caliper but you really should have the hardline extender to move the flexi clear of the wheel
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

i kept it all original (from the G60) metal pipes for the caliper to the bracket , then flexis , then to the master cylinder ,

they all say you need a bigger master cylinder because of the fluid dispersion ,

so i bought a new one but my 8v had the 22mm one on it already and i have a spare now LOL

the 22mm master cyl is very advisable,  bit more feel and less pedal travel.    tho i'm going for a 23.5mm one as soon as get round to fitting as thats what was used on the ABF'ed seats with 280mm brakes  hopefully i'll get a bit less pedal travel and more feel again :)

danny, are the 23.5 m/s's from non pas abs ibiza's and toledo's?

the one i have here is cordoba,  the car it's off had pas and abs.    on the cordoba it's made of ali    unlike the tolado one whitch is cast iron and twice the weight
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

that was the day it all got out of hand finding that.. :laugh:
