think the issue is not the car but the drivers tbh...most diesel drivers are mealy mouthed mpg counting tight ars3s...sure with this comment rhyso will pop up and explain i'm wrong

Don't both of you live down sarf tho, cos i've never had a pleasant driving experience down south around the motorways, and as a northerner i always try to boot it to get out of the place as soon as

you are but i can't be arsed to explain why so just accept that you are

I agree with the issue of the driver and not the car although i normally encounter those in BM's, Mercs, R32's, GTI's, GT's  etc etcwho seem to need to demonstrate how quick their car is   So i make them work for their 'victory' although most suddenly back off after being 'sooted'

GT's don't stand a chance though

Also anyone notice that an increasing number of these people 'in a hurry' seem to be women!!??

i have noticed that further south you go the worse the standard of driving is. I have recently been up north on a regular basis and have found out that they are more courteous and better drivers than people down south.

Thought I'd add my tuppence to this as I came across a GT driver earlier tonight. Out in the sticks and I tore up gradually approached the rear of a GT. Until I got behind him he was doing 40-50mph. As soon as he spotted me he suddenly jumped up to 70-80 (kph ) and sat his car in the middle of the road . Next bend and a long straight he put his foot down and then I waved to him as I went past him
Why did he do this? Only he knows, but he should have known better in my neck of the woods
