VW Golf GTi at number 10 in top 20 performance car chart

Auto Express magazine that some of you rate and others don't (again each to their own) has the GTi positioned at number 10.  Pretty good when you see what other cars it is up against. 

Makes me realise more and more just how glad I am that I put my money on a GTi and not some other marque.

Golf marked down as not so good on the track. Top scores on the road tho

R8 came top.

Indeed. I thought that too... a blue oval 1.6 with about 118bhp (?)!

All the other entries are fair enough, but it's nice to see the MKVI charting higher than the RS
