yeah will do, once i have sourced a rns510 i have been looking at http://www.oemretrofits.co.uk/ as they supply and fit for 650 so if i sold mine for 350 then i only need to pay 300
plus i am getting fiscon hopefully in group buy and get them to fit it at the same time

How does that work with the coding?
I've just read another post about new owners not given a code for their stereo and the reply stating

"you don't need it as it uses something called "comfort coding" which recognises the immobiliser in the car which authorises the radio to start. If you disconnect the battery etc this coding is not lost"

How would that work in a new car?

This will sound like a very amateur question but what is the difference between the RNS510 and the RCD510?

Is the RNS510 just the code for the Sat-Nav unit?

RCD relates to radio compact disc system (i think) RNS relates to radio navigation system.
