should there be a HOLE in the throttle butterfly?
« on: 12 September 2004, 08:54 »
just about to go out and check over stuff like ISV + look for air leaks.. and something has been bugging me since yest...

should there be a hole in the butterfly on the throttle?

(btw whats the 'real' name for this part?)

there is a hole neatly placed in mine..

if not, would the effect be a high idle? i asssume so since its supposed to be blocking air, and won't be.

cant find a pic of one anywhere :(

i'mm gonna check for vacuum leaks first.. then stick something over the 'hole' and see how that affects it..
