a little bit of an update, tried all the amps in different combinations and found that the alpine MRV-T802-dx was upsetting the MRV-F300s so went and bought a second hand MRV-T500.
so now have two v12s running my vibe s12 and Type S comps and its now kicking.
the mrv-t500 is running the sub (bridged) while the mrv-f300 is running the comps also in bridged mode for that extra bit of power.

cheers, just gotta find time to tweek it and tidy it now. just want to get it sounding spot on and make the cables look a bit neater. :smiley:
