I have 1800 to spend on my mk2 16v and was wondering what people recomend to do first, it is totally standard apart from the wheels which i like for now anyway, awsome gti is the nearest place to me to get stuff done so any help would be appreciated.

Lower it, wheels, induction kit, exhaust, big bumper kit. You wont be able to get all of it done so take your pick.

it has alarm, and its an 89 so i think it has a big bumper kit on although i may be mistaken

big bumpers came were standard 1990 onwards but some one might have put them on afterwards, if the bottom part of the bumper is body coloured then you have the 90 spec bumpers
