In that case I really would check your dizzy cap again! I bet you have a tiny crack in it that air moisture is getting into it overnight!

Yeah.

Im with len on the dizzy related.

As obviously the car is allowing for cold start.

IF it was the dizzy itself it would cut out when running. Im not sure if it was the cap if it would cut out when running?

hmmm i'm following your thought process, just one thing , if its moisutre related i wouldnt need to give it additional petrol via the accelerator to the floor to get it to catch, or would i?

Im not sure if you actually need to give it extra petrol.

Sometimes that just in your head. You get pissed off so you start slamming the pedal.

If its not getting enough fuel then generally the fault would be giving you problems when running. Eg fuel pump relay, fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors.

But never say never, this is just the internet!

Yea thats what he means!

Its not necessarily the moisture, its the crack that is causing you to lose vacuum within the dizzy cap! That affects the spark you get. I mentioned moisture because that could be why its worse first thing in the morning.

You can check your relays BTW. When car hot (been running a while) stop, switch off and take out relays. If warm to touch, (best on your cheek) all around then they ok. if cold one side say or cold all round then they duff!

Ok couldnt see any crack in the dizzy cap , and the relays were warm all round, but i didnt notice the hose in the below picture is looking a little nackered, i fiddled with it this morning whilst the car was running, and the car misfired even more on the go, so maybe this is my culprit, any ideas where i can buy this from today?

Cant see pic but if this is the hose up to ECU then that is your problem!

Get some fuel type hose, diesel size is best.
