Hi guys,
My friend has recently bought a 1986 1.6 Caddy that keeps loosing water. There doesn't seem to be any leaks, inside and out but the water is just dissappearing! Can anyone help with any ideas?
Thanks in advance

check for white smoke from exhaust and look for sign of oil in coolant or coolant in oil
if your getting any of above its head gasket
if there are no obvious external leaks then it is pointing towards head gasket, get a compression test done on all cylinders

Try looking at the 2 pipes going into the heater matrix, next to the servo. 1 has a valve on it which opens when you turn your heating on. That valve tends to leak.
btw, is it diesel or petrol?
